Home of the Whopper!
This weekend Jason had a visit from his Grandparents, who just returned from a long journey abroad. He enjoyed playing peekabo reading nursery rhymes with them. Then we went to Target which was crowded despite the Great Depression/recession/slow period.

This Saturday morning Jason, Mom, and Dad went to the Pallisades Mall. We showed up at Barnes and Noble just in time for a story reading. Jason listened to all of the stories with interest and made friends with some other children. After that we enjoyed lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then did some shopping.
Sunday was a much nicer day, so we spent some time outside and went for a long walk. Below is a picture of Jason at Barnes and Noble.

This weekend Jason was happy to have his Mom return from a business trip.
On Friday night, he went to bed early but woke up once Mom arrived to welcome her home. Saturday was rainy but we went out to do some errands in the morning before the storm arrived. Sunday was a beautiful day. In the morning we took a walk down to Starbucks. During the afternoon we visited some open houses and Jason made friends with the the realtors.
Recently Jason has started using a new toy. Instead of jumping up and down in the Exersaucer, he’s been walking around in the Around We Go Activity Station. You can see him enjoying it in one of the pictures below!
Jason and family had a fun filled weekend!
On Saturday, we went to Connecticut to visit Jason’s Grandparents. His Aunt, Uncle, and two cousins were also there. And later Great Grandma and Great Aunts and Uncles stopped for a visit. Unfortunately our camera ran out of batteries so we don’t have any photos from the day.
On Sunday afternoon we visited Untermyer Park in Yonkers with Jason’s other Grandparents. We had a mini picnic and walked the grounds and gardens. The park was incredible. We definitely plan for a return visit.
Jason is growing up fast! A few weeks ago, his top two teeth started coming in, bringing the tooth total to at least four. He has also gotten the new habit of standing up everywhere.
We spent last weekend starting to baby proof the apartment. We also celebrated Mom’s birthday last week. She received a new video camera, so hopefully we will see some new videos of Jason soon!

Last weekend Jason, parents, and grandparents went on a short vacation in Massachusetts.
Jason slept nearly the entire car ride there and was very well behaved the entire trip. We all spent plenty of time outside and shopping. We watched “The Terminal.” We had two nice dinners at Friendly’s and Arizona Pizza.
The pictures below show a brief stop near a lake and at an organic farm. The final picture is Jason back at home in his exersaucer!
